Family trips to Samoa

Over the July 2011 school holidays several families toured Savaii on bikes.  Most had some connection with outdoor, hiring bikes, taking an Easy Loader tour or on a fully escorted trip.  This article is a report by one of the families taking the Easy Loader option (gear carried and accommodation organised).  

Vietnam by Motorbike

We have been touring Northern Vietnam by motorbike.  The roads were rough, the road rules non existent the scenery incredible and the people friendly.  A trip recommended for everyone who is a little bit wild at heart.

Last weekend 28 Ridge Runners arrived in Te Anau intending to run the Fiordland Great Walks over three days.  It was also the end of a storm cycle that had bought severe flooding to the area.

Manaslu Trek

Next escorted trip October 11-23.  It's hard to know whether to call this a cycle tour (we ride 200 kms around the island of Savaii), a beach camping holiday (we stay on pristine beaches in quiet villages in huts or Fales that are more like camping) or a snorkeling holiday (there is superb snorkeling every day amongst the coral).
