Samoa is a great place to visit as a family. There are lots of wonderful, safe coral beaches and kids are a great way to break the ice with the locals. We have a variety of ways to make travelling as a family fun and affordable.

Upgrade to a full support vehicle

The van that carries your gear can be upgraded to a full support vehicle. The drivers, Peter and Sarah will stay near to the group. They can carry non riders and tired riders and provide a baby sitting service. There are lot of places to stop and explore so there should be no sense of a long car journey, just a great shared family experience.

Bikes for kids

We have small bikes, child seats and a tag-along (a semi tandem setup designed for young riders). We are also hoping to have bike trailers suitable for small children.

A small note of caution: - while the roads are generally quiet, young riders should have a good road sense and be able to ride confidently in their space on the road. Less experinced riders sometimes ride a few kms each day, carefully sheparded by an adult. They then ride in the support van with a great sense of participation and achievement.

Price and Facilities

There is quite a range of quality of accommodation. If you have a tight budget, then staying only in Fale style resorts (which include Breakfast and Dinner) will cut the costs. Likewise booking flights early can save a lot.
