Cycle Samoa Packages
Meet and Greet service
We organise your first nights accommodation, meet you at the airport, transport you to the Airport Lodge where our hire bikes are located - and of course set you on your way with trip guide and maps etc.
Easy Load Tours
We organise all your accommodation, carry your bags between resorts and of course provide the bikes and meet you at the airport etc. You choose the start date and style of trip and we organise the rest. See the sample itineraries for suggestions.
Escorted Tours
Every year we run 2 or 3 fully escorted tours. Besides the guide to introduce you to the culture, show you the good snorkelling areas and repair punctures etc you also get all meals and a support vehicle that can carry you if needed.
Choosing the right style for you
Freedom style travelling with just a map, guidebook and a vague plan works well for experienced cyclists, happy to carry their own gear and proficient in basic bike maintenance. It is a great model if you have time and some experience in travelling in developing countries. Hiring avoids bike transport hassles and the meet and greet will simplify the first day, possibly save you a day and hopefully get things off to a great start. In school holidays some resorts are fully booked, making this a better choice at other times.
Easy Load works well for people who want their gear carried or prefer the certainty of confirmed accommodation bookings and a set timetable. The reduced loads make cycling much more enjoyable and the van driver will provide some assistance with general queries and issues and can transport bikes and non-riders. For a small increase in price the gear transport can be upgraded to a full support vehicle. The driver is not a bike mechanic and the group will still need to have bike maintenance skills.
Escorted trips provide a guide and a support vehicle. There is a much bigger cultural interaction on these trips as we try and include school visits, craft making, womens committee meetings and fia fias (dances) amongst other activities. The guide is also a keen snorkeller, who will show you the best places to snorkel and even teach you how to snorkel. He will also assist with riding advice, intepret many of the sights, deal with any unexpected events and hopefully keep the party working hatmoniously and safely. Non-riders and those not confident of riding all the way can join and enjoy these trips.

30 May 2013- 10 Days
This trip is run in conjunction with Women's Adventure.
This has a similar itinerary to the Savaii Escape. Price NZ$2,759.
15 June 2012 - 15 Days
A leisurely tour of Savaii, finishing with a ride on some of the best of Upolu and a day in Apia. This fully escorted tour is inclusive of airfares and is $NZ3,400 ex Wellington.
This trip is full.
5 July 2013 - 11 Days
Similar to the the Savaii Escape this trip is focussed on Savaii.
Adventure Trips
We are planning two adventure trips over April/May. These will canyoning, coastering, kayaking and a climb of Mt Silisili. These will be small pilot trips limited to 6-8 people. Details are sbeing finalised post Evan.
