Self Guided Trips

Travelling as part of a escorted group is not for everyone.  While the group can provide a great deal of social comfort and our trips are a great way to accomplish a lot in a short time, there are some advantages in travelling independently.  You can travel at more convenient times and smaller groups can interact more casually with the locals.

So we have put together these pages to assist those who want to travel independently.  In many cases we have local guides who can look after you in country.  They can meet you at the Airport, provide guide and translation services, hire bikes etc.    If time is limited and you want a trip fully organised before you leave - this can be a great way to optimise time, confident that the local operator is proficient, but without paying big wholesaler overheads.

Of course you can just use this information and organise your own trip without taking any of our paid services.  Travel to these places is well worth it- however you go - and we encourage you to give it a go.  Tell us how you got on and other ideas we should incorporate.
